Writer’s Workshop–See Her Run! (I Mean Walk. I Mean Limp.)

This post is a part of Mama Kat’s Pretty Much World Famous Writers Workshop. The prompt I picked was “Write A Post In Just 12 Lines. 

Hi There,

A couple of months ago, I decided I needed to get in shape.

And by in shape, I mean one that is not a circle.

So I started walking, and then…promptly hurt myself.

Then about three weeks ago, I decided I would try it again.

And it was going along swimmingly! Or as swimmingly as walking can be.

Until I got busy, and stopped yet again.

Today, of course I have started once more.

And I also plan to Tae Bo, which is Latin for kicking your tushie.

Hopefully all of that will help me loose a few pounds before my 30th birthday.

Which is on Christmas Day :).

And I plan to celebrate by eating a great dinner. Oh wait…….

  2. Congrats on starting up the exercise program after an injury. You’re making a lifestyle change that you will benefit from. Stay positive and celebrate your successes. You will meet and exceed your fitness goals!
